Collection: Retirement Gifts

Retirement gifts and keepsakes, handmade in cotton

A retirement gift is kept, not used up. Every piece is hand-knotted in cotton in Asha village, Chiang Rai, and a name, a date or a department can be worked into it.

For the retiree

The phuang malai is the Thai way of honouring someone at the end of their service. Malai Marigold is named บทใหม่ของชีวิต, a new chapter of life. For a senior figure, the Prestige and Signature garlands carry more weight.

Retirement favours for the whole event

Keychains from 350 baht and the Malai Glin Rak in its wooden box at 499, for the guests at a retirement party. Order any quantity, with no minimum.

Ordering

Custom colours, a knotted name and the department badge all take about a month. Civil service retirements fall on 30 September, so orders are best placed in August.
