Each curtain tie-back is a chain of five infinity knots in thick braided cotton rope, each knot bound with a fine cotton wrap. Loop it around the curtain, hook it to the wall, and the fabric falls into a soft drape.

How do you care for cotton tie-backs?
Curtain tie-backs are handled every day, so a little care keeps them clean and bright.
- Keep them out of strong direct sunlight when the curtains are open for long hours. Sun fades natural cotton over time.
- Keep them dry. Avoid rooms with high humidity.
- Dust them regularly. Brush the rope lightly with a soft brush or a cloth.
∞: a sign with no end
The infinity sign has a date of birth. The English mathematician John Wallis introduced it in 1655, in his work on conic sections, to stand for a quantity without end.
Its other name, the lemniscate, comes from the Latin for ribbon: a loop that closes on itself and keeps going.
