What does Macrame by Nicha make?

We design, produce and distribute our own cotton craft products in Thailand: corporate gifts and premium giveaways, Christmas ornaments and decorations, Phuang Malai (Thai flower garlands), keychains, fridge magnets, table art and dreamcatchers.

Everything is handmade in our own workshop, so companies order directly from the maker rather than from a reseller.

Do you work with companies, and what size of order do you take?

Yes. Corporate orders are at the core of what we do, from a handful of executive gifts to several hundred pieces for a conference, event or client mailing.

There is no minimum order quantity, so both pilot batches and full campaigns are welcome.

Can you customize products with our logo and brand colours?

Yes. We can match our product colours to your logo, brand colours or national flag colour codes, and add your logo to a printed tag, label or belly wrap.

We can also engrave our premium wooden boxes with your brand name or logo.

Branded tags and other customisation options are charged as add-ons, with the cost confirmed in your quotation.

We customise our own designs according to your brief, which allows us to keep both quality and production timelines under control.

How does pricing work for a corporate order?

We quote per project rather than working with a fixed wholesale rate. Our pricing is tiered, so the unit price decreases as the quantity increases.

Tell us your required quantity and target budget per piece, and we will propose designs and materials that fit your needs.

How do we request a quotation?

For custom designs or tight deadlines, we can arrange a video call, agree on the specifications with you, and confirm everything in writing before production begins.

What is the lead time, and when should we order?

Lead time depends on the design and the production schedule at the time of your order, as every piece is handmade to order.

For Christmas and New Year gifting, corporate orders close at the end of September, so October and November deliveries need to be planned well in advance.

For everything else, contact us as early as possible and we will confirm a delivery date before production begins.

Can you add gift packaging, a card or a personal message?

Yes. We can include a personalised thank-you card printed with your wording, together with a branded tag.

If each recipient requires a different name or message, please let us know at the briefing stage so we can plan the packing and labelling accordingly.

Do you deliver across Thailand and internationally?

Yes. We ship throughout Thailand and internationally through Thailand Post.

Give us the destination country and we will confirm the available shipping options and rates in your quotation.

What are your products made of?

Natural cotton fibre is our main material. Some designs also incorporate dried flowers, metallic blended thread for a radiant finish, wood or steel for structure.

Keep your piece in a dry place and dust it gently with a soft brush or cloth, and it can retain its colour and shape for years.

What is your return policy?

We gladly accept returns within 14 days, provided the product shows no signs of use or damage.

Custom-made and branded pieces are final sale, which is why we confirm all specifications with you in writing before production begins.

Who makes your products?

Our products are handmade by Akha women in Chiang Rai Province through Akha Ma-De, our community-based enterprise in Mae Yao District.

A community-based enterprise puts social goals first: creating local employment, providing fair income and helping preserve Akha craft heritage.

Buying from us directly supports jobs in the village rather than a factory production line.

What makes a corporate gift an ethical gift?

An ethical gift is produced and sourced in a socially and environmentally responsible way, with fair working conditions and pay, thoughtful material choices and processes designed to keep environmental impact low.

For companies with responsible sourcing or CSR commitments, our production story is documented and we are happy to provide supporting information for your internal reporting.

Who are the Akha?

The Akha are an Indigenous ethnic group living in the mountainous regions of Southeast Asia, including Thailand, Myanmar, Laos and China.

They are known for their rich cultural heritage, distinctive traditional clothing and a way of life historically closely connected to the land.

In Thailand, Akha communities are found mainly in the northern provinces, particularly Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai.

Can we visit you or see the pieces before we order?

We work from our workshop in Chiang Rai and are developing a craft production space that will welcome visitors and celebrate Akha culture.

In the meantime, we can arrange video calls anywhere in Thailand, as well as in-person meetings in Bangkok and Chiang Rai, so you can see the pieces, materials and colour options before committing to an order.

Do you also sell to individuals?

Yes. Our collections also cover personal gifting for Mother's Day, Teacher's Day, weddings and Christmas, as well as offerings for Buddha images and monks.
